The title of this issue is a play on the Kathy Dudbert issues.
Aldbug Lobings first appeared alongside his brother Cecil Lobings in issue#23 "Aldbug and Cecil". He is the sworn enemy of Barnaby Banks and has appeared as a background character in issue#31 "The Further Desolation of Moloch by Loaker Banks" as well as the Barnaby and Loaker Christmas card.
The surname "Lobings" is an anagram of Goblins, relating to his goblin appearance and nature.
Kathy Dudbert first began carving her love heart signs for Barnaby on the trees of Moloch Falls in issue#12 "Kathy Dudbert Loves Barnaby Banks pt.2"
Kathy Dudbert, in anger and upset, refers to Barnaby as her boyfriend which highlights her delusions.
Although mentioned in the title and the story, Barnaby does not appear.
