"Are You There God? It's Barnaby and Loaker"

Issue #2: "Are You There God? It's Barnaby and Loaker"

In this issue Barnaby and Loaker are sent to help out at their Grandmother's church after Loaker decided to eat all of her Fine China Dinner set. Naturally Barnaby blames the clueless Loaker for their punishment but the pair soon discover that perhaps the church does not necessarily want their help....

Title Reference: The title is a reference to Are You There God? It's Me, Margaret by Judy Blume. Published in 1970, It followed a young girl as she explored her spirituality and identity issues. The title here is used in a more obvious fashion of the brothers being sent to help out at the church and being subsequently rejected by said church and to a greater extent God.
