The script for this issue is based on the original draft of issue#23 which was Aldbug and Cecil's debut issue. It was however scrapped in favour of a more confrontational debut with the main characters.

This issue serves to further demonstrate the hostility between Gremlins and Goblins as well as highlighting the bullying nature of Aldbug and his brother. It is also another example of Barnaby being seemingly unaware of his appearance.

This is the first appearance of Bancroft in 2014
