"The Singing Pooka; or: the Hogmanay that Feigenbaum cannot remember...."
Issue#29: "The Singing Pooka; or: the Hogmanay that Feigenbaum cannot remember...."
Happy New Year folks!
A merry Feigenbaum celebrates the New Year but not everyone enjoys his singing....
Notes and References:
Welcome to the first issue of 2014!
This is also the first ever solo Feigenbaum issue as neither Barnaby or Loaker appear.
The song that Feigenbaum is singing in the first panel is Auld Lang Syne, A Scots poem written by Robert Burns in 1788. People from all over the world usually sing it to celebrate the start of the New Year at the stroke of Midnight.
This is the first time a character has appeared drunk in Barnaby and Loaker. It is also another example of Feigenbaum being seen or rather heard by other people.
The bottle that Feigenbaum is drinking, although never mentioned in the strip, is Moloch Mead (a local popular alcoholic beverage available in Moloch Falls).
