Evil has come to Moloch Falls in the form of Aldbug and Cecil..

This is the first appearance of Aldbug and Cecil, Two evil goblins who act as nemeses to Barnaby and Loaker.

Aldbug speaks in broken English with lines like "Me am are" meaning "I am" and so on. Cecil speaks in a similar fashion to Loaker with "wozafozaroz" instead of Loaker's "rassafassahaha".

The name Aldbug comes from a misspelling of Aldburg, A fictional place in Middle-Earth from The Lord of the Rings universe.

The name of Barnaby and Loaker's High School Fletcher Welles School is inspired by a story called "Gremlins" written by Lucille Fletcher which aired on Orson Welles' radio show Ceiling Unlimited.

Aldbug and Cecil will continue to appear in strips of Barnaby and Loaker.
