"Interview With The Feigenbaum"
Issue#14: Interview With The Feigenbaum
Loaker's equally crazy classmate Emily Hair is interviewing him for a class project....or is she?
Notes and References:
The title is reference to Anne Rice's Interview With The Vampire, Published in 1976 and later made into a film starring Brad Pitt and Tom Cruise. The book is the first of many volumes of Rice's Vampire Chronicles. It introduces the reader to Louis, A vampire who decides to reveal his secrets and those of the Vampire world in an attempt to reconnect with his lost humanity.
This is the second issue to not feature the words "Barnaby" or "Loaker" in the main title in some manner of pun or play on words. The first issue to do this was issue#11: "A Nightmare in Moloch Falls" which also featured the ever mysterious Feigenbaum.
This issue marks the first appearance of Emily Hair who is named after and inspired by a friend of mine. Emily Hair was chosen for this issue because out of all of my friends, She is probably the most likely to see Feigenbaum in reality.
The character is the only other person apart from Loaker to ever physically meet Feigenbaum which signifies her own mental instability.
(Note. Barnaby once had a nightmarish vision of Feigenbaum in his sleep)
